SCHOOLS PROGRAMME
We have launched our schools programme for the current academic year which we are delighted to 100% fund for any school or club interested in accessing these wonderful resources. If you are a principal or teacher based in a secondary school in Co. Clare or involved in a Clare Youth Services club, and think any of our evidence based mental health and well-being programmes or inspirational talks would be of benefit to your school, please email and we will link you up with the relevant provider to kickstart the process.

If you are a student, let your teacher know and together we can start the conversation.

OUR PLEDGE
We are very proud of how many young people have connected with the programmes, talks and events we have funded to date. We are massively passionate about what we do and want to make an even greater contribution going forward to the young people of Co. Clare.
The Elevate Fund is hugely honoured to be set up as a Donor Advised Fund in partnership with The Community Foundation for Ireland(CHY 13967) who manages and administers all donations to the Elevate initiative. If you would like to contribute to the Elevate Fund to reach more young people in Co. Clare you will find more information HERE.
THE STORY
Elevate was founded by John Burke in April 2017. He established the foundation to develop a project he is very passionate about – promoting wellness in young people and providing them with the tools they need to fulfil their potential.
In order to raise the necessary funds for the foundation he has organised and participated in a number of events, the most extensive being Raising the Banner for Youth Wellness – Everest 2017, his successful attempt of summiting Mount Everest which took place between April and May 2017.
In December 2017, John Burke was recognised as ‘Clare Person of the Year’ by the Clare Association, Dublin for his achievement in becoming the first Clare person to climb Mount Everest and for his efforts to promote and provide mental health wellness programmes for young people in Clare.
